Report: The 2025 Kurt Swanson Bucholz Arsenals of History Symposium

Danny Michael

Abstract

In preparing for the most recent instalment of the Kurt Swanson Bucholz Arsenals of History Symposium, the Cody firearms Museum had the opportunity to co-host the symposium with The National Museum of the United States Army in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. As we reflect on another successful symposium, the CFM would first and foremost like to thank the staff at the NMUSA for hosting us—and for their hard work and support throughout the event. The museum is a key institution and their collections related to U. S. military history offered many points of obvious overlap for us students of arms history. The partnership proved invaluable, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the museum who worked diligently to make this collaboration possible.
